How to delete your Barzel account

You can delete your account and all your data at any time, directly in the app, without having to talk to anyone:

Open Barzel and sign in to your account.
Tap the Profile tab and then the Settings gear at the top of the screen.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
Confirm by typing your username. Deleting the account is immediate and permanent.

What is deleted

Your sign-up data (name, @, email, phone number, contact email and profile photo), the notes journal, the habits and daily entries, the reading with its highlights and notes, the check-ins, the comments and the usage events are deleted immediately.

The photos and videos you sent in groups are deleted from our servers within 7 days after the deletion.

The groups you created are not deleted: they pass to the longest-standing member. If you were the only member, the group is deleted.

We do not keep a copy of your data after the deletion.

Prefer to ask by email?

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email registered on the account to contato@barzelapp.com.br with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 7 days.
